Browser Cache
The functionality of web browsers to locally store resources from a web page (such as images, CSS files, JavaScript files, etc.) to avoid re-downloading them on subsequent visits. The duration for which a cached resource is used depends on its associated metadata.

A web aggregator or content aggregator is a software application or server feature that utilises RSS feeds to retrieve, process, or render information published as syndication feeds from websites.
Indicated
According to Opquast’s good quality practices, 'indicated' content within a page is present and directly viewable on that page. Conversely, content accessible via a link on the page is referred to as 'available'.
COQ (Cost of Obtaining Quality)
The COQ (Cost of Obtaining Quality) represents the production and prevention costs necessary to maintain the quality of a website or service.
Analytics
The process of collecting, analysing, and interpreting data, particularly from websites or applications, to understand user behaviour, track performance, and inform strategic decisions for improvement.
Leaderboards
A feature, often in a competitive or gamified context, that displays a ranked list of individuals or entities based on specific metrics, such as upvotes, revenue, or activity.
Building in Public
A strategic approach, particularly among startup founders and product makers, where the development process, successes, failures, and financial progress of a product or business are openly shared with an audience.
CSV (Comma Separated Values)
A common file format for storing tabular data in plain text, where each value is typically separated by a comma, making it suitable for easy import into spreadsheets or databases.
Data Analysis Tools
Software applications designed to process, manipulate, and analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, supporting informed decision-making.
Data Visualisation Tools
Software applications that graphically represent information and data using visual elements such as charts, graphs, and maps, making complex data easier to understand and interpret.
E-commerce
The business of buying and selling goods and services online, encompassing all commercial transactions conducted electronically over the internet.
One-time Payment
A single, non-recurring payment made for a product or service, where the customer pays once without any automatic follow-up charges.
Product Categories

Quality Assurance (QA)

A mechanism, typically found on online platforms or communities, where users can indicate their approval or agreement with a piece of content, product, or comment.

The practice of designing and developing websites, applications, and digital content to be usable by as many people as possible, including those with disabilities, ensuring equal access and opportunity.
QSE-IP
An acronym used by Opquast for integrated Quality, Safety, Environment, Inclusion, and Privacy management approaches, particularly relevant for steering digital activities.
Usability
Refers to how easy and effective a website or application is for users to interact with and achieve their goals, encompassing factors like learnability, efficiency, and satisfaction.
VPTCS Model
A multidisciplinary model developed by Opquast (Visibility, Perception, Technical, Content, Services) used for understanding and assuring the quality of user experience across various aspects of a website or digital service.
WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
A set of internationally recognised guidelines developed by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)
A set of quality rater guidelines used by Google to assess the overall quality and credibility of web content, ensuring it is accurate, reliable, and genuinely helpful to users, now including 'Experience'.
Solopreneurs
Individuals who establish, manage, and assume the risks of a business or enterprise entirely by themselves, without the involvement of partners or significant external teams.
Indie Hacker
An individual who independently builds, launches, and grows a business or product, often with a focus on lean methodologies and self-funding, without relying on external investment.
